Our Strategic Plan Development Process
Stake Holders Engagement
The process included a series of engagements with COU-TEDDO partners at national level (funding partners and collaborating agencies), higher and lower local governments, regional partners CSO/NGO and business partners, community groups, and associations such as VSLAs.
Sharing of previous experiences
The process also included sharing of previous implementing experiences by COU-TEDDO management and Board of Directors, highlighting learnings picked to inform the new strategic plan.
The feedback from this process provided valuable lessons that informed the structured discussions involving the Secretariat Staff, the Board, Management and Development Partners on the next steps and focus for COU-TEDDO in the coming five years (2020-2024).
Consultative Meetings
During these consultative meetings, strategic priority areas for the next five years were identified and a theory of change conceptualized upon which the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan is anchored. A draft Strategic
Plan Developed
Plan was developed, shared and discussed among the bigger constituency of COU-TEDDO stakeholders. The contributions from the stakeholders enriched the draft strategy consequently leading to developing a final Strategic Plan (2020-2024).
